Hi, I'm Barbora—a Czech mom of three, home educator, postpartum coach and many more roles. When I'm not with my children or supporting new mothers, you'll find me tending to my garden, foraging, learning new skills, or hanging out with my chickens. Curious to know more?
Read my story
Over a decade ago, I moved from the Czech Republic to Scotland, finding myself very far from family and friends. When my first daughter was born, I was alone, struggling after a traumatic birth, my husband working long hours. I've developed a postnatal depression, excruciating sciatica & lower back pain & thinking of suicide felt as a comforting solution to my sad life then.
It wasn’t until I had two more children that I truly understood the importance of planning, not just for birth, but for the postpartum period as well. During my doula training and third pregnancy, I learned what true postpartum care should be like—surrounded by a supportive network, planning for childcare, meals, herbal support, and openly discussing my needs with my husband & friends.
These changes made an immense difference, allowing my body to heal and helping me feel strong and well after birth.
"I understand the struggles that can come after childbirth, especially when paid doula support isn't accessible—I’ve been there myself. That’s why I’m here to empower you through postpartum coaching, helping you feel strong, healthy, and supported. I guide you in creating your own support network, teaching you how to care for yourself so that your family can learn to support you too. With the right care, you’ll thrive—strong, healthy, and happy.
You deserve to be cared for, dear mama, and you are not invisible to me. If you feel like you need more time or support, just click the button below, and let’s talk. I’m committed to walking this journey with you—you are never alone."
